1.What we collect
- Account data (salon owners): name, email, phone, business name, and billing details. Payments are handled by our payment processor; we don't store full card numbers.

- Google Calendar data: see Section 3.
- Usage data: basic logs, device and browser info, used to run and secure the service.
2.How we use it
- Answer calls, quote your prices, and book, reschedule, or cancel appointments.

- Let you listen to recordings and search transcripts.
- Bill you, support you, and keep the service secure.
We do not sell personal data. We do not use it for advertising.
3.Google Calendar data
When you connect Google Calendar, you let RingSitter view, create, edit, and delete events on your calendar. We use this only to book appointments:
- Read: check when you and your staff are free, so we never double-book.
- Create: add the appointments callers book.
- Edit / delete: move or cancel an appointment when a caller asks, or when you ask us to.
We don't store a copy of your calendar. We keep only the details of appointments RingSitter books (time, service, staff member, client name and phone) so we can send confirmations, summaries, and reports. Your Google access token is encrypted and stored on our servers.
During a call, the free time slots and appointment details needed to answer the caller are processed by our AI providers (Section 4) only to handle that call.
Google API Limited Use. RingSitter's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
- We use Google Calendar data only to provide the booking features you see in RingSitter.
- We do not sell it, use it for ads, or share it with data brokers.
- We do not use it to develop, improve, or train generalized AI or machine-learning models.
- No person at RingSitter reads it, unless you ask us to (for example, for support), it is needed for security, or the law requires it.
5.Storage and security
- Data is stored in the United States on AWS (US West, Oregon).
- Call recordings and Google access tokens are encrypted at rest. All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS).

6.How long we keep data

10.Changes
