Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you (the business using RingSitter) and RingSitter ("we", "us"). By signing up for or using the service at ringsitter.com, you agree to them.

1.The service

RingSitter is an AI receptionist that answers your business calls, books appointments into your Google Calendar, sends text messages, and records calls. You must be at least 18 and using it for a business.

2.Your account

  • Keep your login secure. You're responsible for activity on your account.
  • Keep your business info (services, prices, hours, staff) accurate. RingSitter quotes what you give it.

3.Trial, plans, and billing

  • New accounts get a 15-day free trial. No credit card needed.
  • Paid plans are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically until cancelled. Each plan includes a set number of call minutes, as shown on our pricing page. Minutes beyond your plan are handled as described there.
  • Cancel anytime. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We don't refund partial months.
  • We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice.

4.Your responsibilities

  • Call recording and AI. Every call starts with a notice that it may be recorded. You are responsible for any other recording, consent, or AI-disclosure rules that apply where you operate.
  • Text messages. Texts are sent only to callers about their own calls and appointments. You won't use RingSitter for marketing texts. Our SMS Terms also apply.
  • Lawful use. Don't use RingSitter for anything illegal, harmful, deceptive, or to harass anyone. Don't try to break, copy, or reverse engineer the service.

5.Google Calendar

When you connect Google Calendar, you let RingSitter view, create, edit, and delete events to manage appointments. You can disconnect at any time. How we handle this data is described in our Privacy Policy.

6.Your data

You own your business data, calendar data, and call recordings. You give us permission to use them only to provide and support the service. Call recordings are kept until you delete them. See our Privacy Policy.

7.Our property

RingSitter, its software, and its brand belong to us. You get a limited, non-transferable right to use the service while your account is active.

8.AI limitations

RingSitter uses AI and can make mistakes: it may mishear, misunderstand, or book something incorrectly. Check your calendar and call summaries. See our Disclaimer.

9.Availability

We work to keep RingSitter running 24/7 but don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Phone carriers, Google, and other providers can have outages outside our control.

10.Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or don't pay. You can close your account anytime. After closing, we delete your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

11.Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.

12.Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, bookings, or clients. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

13.Indemnity

You agree to cover us against claims arising from your use of RingSitter in breach of these terms or the law, including recording-consent and messaging laws.

14.Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For material changes, we'll notify you by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use RingSitter means you accept them.

15.Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which RingSitter is registered.
